All you need is a VHS-C adapter. They may hard to find but Circuit City or Best Buy or Radio Shack should have one. Any competent clerk in any electronics store should know what you mean when you tell them you want a VHS-C adapter.

You might try Wal-Mart but I haven't looked for one in there since my VHS-C camcorder broke 5 years ago.

As for getting your video transfered to DVD. Yes it is extremely possible. You need to look for a store or company that does it in your area. I would start with a good camera store. If that doesn't work, try grabbing the yellow pages and look under video for a local production facility that offers VHS to DVD transfers. They might advertise something like "Put your home movies on DVD." Prices will vary based on the length of you VHS video.

The other option is to do it yourself. You need a pretty good computer and the right software. Something like Pinnacle Studio MovieBox Plus will work. it comes with everything you need to do a VHS-DVD transfer except for the DVD burner. If your computer already has one then great. If not, well they really aren't all that expensive any more.
