    Depends.
    Famous bands like Paramore would almost never be opening acts anyways.
    Garage bands who are grateful just to find a gig will probably not get paid and semi famous bands may get paid some money. Even famous bands get paid, although the money usually goes straight to their managers.
    The profit bands make from selling merch they usually keep.
