Whitney Houston gets lots of cash blown away in the ‘Million Dollar Bill’ music video.

Whitney Houston goes to the club to make a live performance in the “Million Dollar Bill” music video. Beside lightening up the nightclub, she also performs in an alley with a bunch of cash blown around her like a money rain.

Sampling Loleatta Holloway’s 1976 single “We’re Getting Stronger”, “Million Dollar Bill” was co-written by Alicia Keys along with Swizz Beatz and Norman Harris. It is taken from Whitney’s comeback album “I Look to You” and so far peaked at number 56 on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

“I Look to You” itself was dropped in U.S. on August 28. The record debuted at number 1 on Billboard Hot 200 with 305,000 copies sold. However, it fell down to number 3, adding only 88,000 copies in its second week on sale.

Keri Hilson - Slow Dance

Keri Hilson premieres a music video of “Slow Dance”, the fifth official single lifted from her debut album “In a Perfect World…”. This would be the second version of the video which was shot with director Chris Robinson in Los Angeles instead of with director Paul Hunter.

The video starts off with Keri meeting her friends for a night out and goes back few hours when Keri gets dressed for the outing. “She’s in her house and by herself, and you kind of think it could be serious, but the song drops out in the middle and her friends catch her being all sexy, basically like, ‘What the f**k are you doing? You are not singing by yourself’,” Robinson explained the concept.

Robinson also described in his interview with Rap-Up the experience of shooting with Keri. He said, “Keri Hilson has a great personality and is a real girl. That’s what we want to get across.”

This video is also serving as the first video appearance from Chris Brown since his altercation case with Rihanna in February. The R ‘n’ B star is spotted donning a yellow Billionaire Boys Club truckers cap and low slung baggy jeans inside one of the jeeps. Other cameo include those by Omarion, Monica and The Pussycat Dolls’ Melody Thornton and producer Polow Da Don.

In “The One” music video, Mary J. Blige is seen sharing screen with Canadian rapper Drake who lends his vocal to the song. She is captured dancing energetically through the up-beat music with several dancers before then Drake joins her and raps his verses.

Hours after the arrival of the video, Mary tweeted, “Thank you all for your comments. I really appreciate the love & The support. I really wanted this video to be crazy. I worked really hard.” Another short message was posted later on, “OK… THAT VIDEO IS CRAZY!!!!! CONGRATS BABY GIRL…”

“The One” is the first single from Mary’s upcoming ninth studio album “Stronger” which will come out in U.S. on November 24. Featuring today’s music trend Auto-Tune, this track comes from the production hands of powerhouse producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins.

Explaining the usage of Auto-Tune in the song, Mary said during an interview on Angie Martinez’s radio show, “It was for effect. I wanted ‘Crazy Mary’ to get her shine on. She couldn’t get her shine with my regular voice. I used the effect. I used it as a telephone effect or reverb.”
